The style
Floral in Andenne
Botanicals in black ink: flowers, foliage and sprigs composed to follow the area that carries them.
Definition
Floral is plant life tattooed in black. From the finest line to soft shadows, every flower, every leaf is drawn to follow the body rather than sit flat on it. Roses, poppies, ferns, stems of wild grass: the design is built around you.
It is a style of composition as much as of line. Sophie runs stems along an arm, opens a bloom on a shoulder, lets foliage trail across the back. The result holds over time because black, well laid, ages true.

Who it's for
floral is for you if
- You love plants. Flowers, foliage, herbaria: black reveals their structure without the colour.
- You want a piece that follows the body, along an arm, a leg or across the back.
- You are torn between fine line and shading: floral marries the two in a single piece.
- You are thinking of a piece that can grow, flower after flower, over successive sessions.
Good to know
What Sophie will tell you at your consultation
- A botanical composition is planned at the scale of the limb, not a single spot.
- Soft shadows need well-healed skin between sessions on a large piece.
- Fine line and shading age at the same pace when the depth stays constant.
- We often start from your own flowers: a photo, a memory, a plant that matters to you.
