Site publisher. SpookySo, run by Sophie Guiot, tattoo artist. The Backrooms Studio, Rue Brun 46, 5300 Andenne, Belgium. Company and VAT number: BE 0797.795.702. Contact: by email or through the form on the Contact page.
Site. spookyso.be, available in French, Dutch, German and English. Design and development: Lenny Obez (see the Colophon for full credits).
Hosting. This site is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. Data is stored on an Amazon EC2 instance in the European Union, Europe (Paris) region.
Intellectual property. The drawings, flash, photographs and texts on this site are the property of Sophie Guiot. No reproduction, including to be tattooed elsewhere, without her written consent.
Privacy
What the site collects. Only what you share through a form: appointment request (project, contact details, budget, availability and, if you wish, health notes), contact message, email address for the next drop alert.
Health data is given voluntarily, is used only to prepare the session safely and is never passed on. It is deleted once the project is closed.
What the site does not do. No tracking cookies, no advertising trackers, no reselling of data. Visitor statistics, if any, are anonymous and aggregated.
Retention periods. Appointment request and contact message: for as long as we are in touch, then three years after the last contact with no follow-up. Health data: deleted as soon as the project is closed. Accounting records tied to the deposit and sessions: seven years, as Belgian accounting law requires. Email for the next-drop alert: until you unsubscribe. Technical server logs: twelve months at most.
Your rights (GDPR). Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability: write to us through the Contact page, the request is handled by Sophie herself. You can also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Terms of use
Age. The studio is for adults only: no minor is tattooed, with or without parental consent. Proof of identity may be requested.
Requests and bookings. A request sent from the site is not a booking: it becomes one when a date is confirmed and the deposit is paid. 30% non-refundable deposit, deducted from the final price. One free reschedule is possible with more than 48 hours’ notice.
Flash. Each flash is a one-of-a-kind piece, sold and tattooed only once. The 48 h hold expires automatically without payment of the deposit; the piece then becomes available again.
Health and safety. Informed consent is signed before every session. Sophie may decline or postpone a session if the condition of the skin or of the person requires it: this is a safety measure, not a penalty.
Applicable law. The site and the services are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought before any other route; failing that, the courts of the district of Namur have jurisdiction.
